What is Eco-friendly?
Eco-friendly fabrics are made from fibres that require little or no pesticides to grow. Eco-friendly fabrics are also animal friendly as they are either made from non-animal fibres or are harvested in animal friendly ways. These fabrics are naturally resistant to mold and mildew and are also disease free. Bamboo, hemp, linen and ramie are all eco-friendly fibres.
What is Organic?
Organic fibres are cultivated without pesticides, chemical herbicides or synthetic fertilizers that can be harmful to the environment. Organic fabric comes from plants grown in fields where the use of synthetic chemicals has been discontinued for at least three years. Organic farming reduces the exposure to pesticides and other chemicals that pollute the local ecosystems where the fibre is grown. In order for a fabric to be considered organic, it must meet strict guidelines in regards to how the fibre is processed, produced, dyed and handled.

Bamboo (Eco-friendly)
Bamboo is one of nature’s most sustainable resources. It grows without the use of chemicals or pesticides, is 100% biodegradable and is naturally regenerative. Bamboo can grow up to a foot a day! Bamboo has an excellent drape and silky-cashmere feel.

Polyurethane Laminate (PUL) Fabrics
Polyurethane Laminate, or PUL is a laminate-backed diaper fabric that was originally developed to be used for medical purposes. The softness, flexibility and water-proof qualities make it perfect for cloth diapers. When originally created, PUL was meant to be autoclaved and therefore it can tolerate high dryer settings and heavy use.
