 Fabricana
has been working hard over the last several years to create
a “quilt shop” within our larger fabric store.
We have expanded our selection and try to carry the latest
trends in quilting and craft fabrics. We are also carrying
a wide range of batting, quilting notions, and patterns
to make us a “one-stop-shopping” destination
for quilters and crafters.
The staff in our quilting department is also very experienced
and involved in the larger world of quilting in the Lower
Mainland.
 As
much as we would love to be able to scan in every fabric
and have it on this website, unfortunately that is not
possible at this time. Instead, this site is intended
to give you an overview of the products and product lines
that are available to you when you come into our store.

Quilt and Craft Basics
- Papillon 100% Cotton Solids
- This is a high quality solid coloured cotton. We carry
it in a wide range of colours (about 50 various shades).
It’s excellent for sashing and borders, children's
quilts, or when you just need something bold.
- Moda Marbles
- This has become a modern classic in the realm of quilting.
It may be used in many of the same places as a solid
colour, but adds a rich texture and depth of colour.
It’s “marble” print also helps it
blend better into your project. It's also available
in a wealth of colours (about 80) ranging from bright
jewel tones to whispering pastels and muted earth tones.
- Bali Batiks
- These tightly woven cottons have a beautiful crisp
finish. The batik process makes them equally beautiful
on both sides and ideal for garments as well as quilt
and craft projects. The colours are also very rich and
the patterns are subtle and very earthy and ethnic.
They add a rustic and exotic feel to any project in
which they are used!
